The Bonfire
I'm going to just go ahead and throw this out. Last year we tried to have a bonfire down at La Push or Rialto beach and, at the end of the day, it didn't pan out. Mainly, they wanted small, quiet groups of people attending the bonfires and there were permits involved at Rialto Beach.
When we did arrive in Forks, we found out the La Push bonfire had been canceled. There was some speculation that they had caught wind of our arrival and didn't want a ton of people crashing their bonfire. Honestly, I doubt this is true.
That being said, if you do want to do a bonfire, please feel free to have one but please respect the people running them and follow their requests.
Thanks.

Re: The Bonfire
Also remember that during the day the beach was f'ing FREEZING (but SO worth it) so if you plan on having a bonfire, bring layers GALORE! Just trying to be helpful

Re: The Bonfire
If there is a group of you that want to do your own bonfire, by all means go for it. If you want to do it in Quileute territory, there are a lot of rules they ask you to follow (I think no booze is one of them).
At any rate, if you guys do set something up, let us know!!
